Sadly, summer is half over. I have not made much progress developing a blog. This is, in fact, my first attempt to create something. Alas, this will serve as my first blog. Summer is still in session...

  1. It looks like you are enjoying your summer. It certainly has been a great summer for kayaking. August is when I panic about summer being over.

  2. Carol,
I love your new profile picture. I think the time you have spent learning more about the tools while exploring and sharing your passion for kayaking with your family will be a strong motivator for you. AND...it will be a great step in the right direction for learning more about Web 3.0 tools...the move from static (Web 1.0), to interactive (Web 2.0)to...Web 3.0 making the web a personal learning experience!

I am excited to work together using these tools in our school.

  3. Today is Day 2 and I'm continuing to practice my Blog. I am starting to develop many ideas for how to use several of today's tools in class. Additionally, I have electronic data probes for use in my science labs which then need to be downloaded to PCs and student accounts. I am becoming more and more worried about how to have enough access to technology in my room. My building of just over 500 shares 4 mobile labs and one classroom lab. I have up to 4 PCs in my room if I relinquish my desktop, which I often do. I would be interested in hearing from others how they gain enough access to technology. So you share within a building? department? team? own house?
